چکیده
This review summarizes the recent advances in preparing cellulose hydrogels via ionic liquid-based processes and applications of regenerated hydrogels/iongels electrochemical materials, separation membranes, 3D printing bioinks. Cellulose is most abundant natural polymer, which has attracted great attention due to demand for eco-friendly sustainable materials. The sustainability products also depends on selection dissolution solvent. current state knowledge preparation, performed by directly dissolving liquids then regenerating antisolvents, as described this review, provides innovative ideas from new findings presented research papers with perspective challenges.

Hydrogels Prepared from Cross-Linked Nanofibrillated Cellulose
Nanocomposite hydrogels were developed by cross-linking nanofibrillated cellulose with poly(methyl vinyl ether-co-maleic acid) and polyethylene glycol. The cross-linked hydrogels showed enhanced water absorption and gel content with the addition of nanocellulose. In addition, the thermal stability, mechanical strength, and modulus increased with an increase in the amount of nanocellulose in hyd...
متن کاملBiodegradable Cellulose-based Hydrogels: Design and Applications
Hydrogels are macromolecular networks able to absorb and release water solutions in a reversible manner, in response to specific environmental stimuli. Such stimuli-sensitive behaviour makes hydrogels appealing for the design of ‘smart’ devices, applicable in a variety of technological fields. In particular, in cases where either ecological or biocompatibility issues are concerned, the biodegra...
متن کاملLiquid crystalline cellulose-based nematogels
Physical properties of composite materials can be pre-engineered by controlling their structure and composition at the mesoscale. However, approaches to achieving this are limited and rarely scalable. We introduce a new breed of self-assembled nematogels formed by an orientationally ordered network of thin cellulose nanofibers infiltrated with a thermotropic nematic fluid. The interplay between...

متن کاملExtensional rheology of cellulose-ionic liquid solutions
Various cellulose-ionic liquid solutions were measured with a rotational plate-andplate rheometer and a Capillary Break-up Extensional Rheometer (CaBER). Comparison of the shear and extensional rheological properties showed good agreement in some cases. The CaBER, however, seems to be more sensitive to small variations in solute composition. INTRODUCTION Since almost a decade now, nonderivatizi...
